1. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
Xiaomi’s much-anticipated smartphone the Redmi Note 4 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 9,999 for 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM version in January. The Redmi Note 4 also comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM and costs Rs 12,999 and a 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM version at Rs 10,999.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) and is topped with 2.5D curved glass IPS display with a 401ppi pixel density. It supports dual-SIM (Micro+Nano).The rear camera bears a 13-megapixel CMOS sensor equipped with phase detection autofocus, an f/2.0 aperture, 77-degree wide angle lens, along with dual-tone LED flash. The front snapper sports a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, coupled with an 85-degree wide angle lens. Expandable storage is available on the Redmi Note 4 via a hybrid dual-SIM card configuration.
2. Honor 6X
Honor 6X was launched recently in India with a Dual-Camera system that can click some really good images. The Honor 6X smartphone in India starts at a price of Rs 12,999.
The phone was recently launched in CES 2017 and won various accolades by the foreign attending media.
The device sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1920X1080p) display and a full metal slim body design (8.2mm thick) with 2.5D glass on the front and curved panel on the back.
The smartphone is localised for the Indian users with EMUI availability in 14 local languages( Hindi, Bengali, Telegu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Assamese, Maithili & Nepali) and comes with the SOS button which will act as an emergency alarm and send an SMS to preset numbers and also provide location information.
3. ZTE Blade A2 Plus
Chinese telecom major ZTE also launched its first smartphone in 2017 in India in the form of ZTE Blade A2 Plus.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus smartphone offers a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D display along with a 13MP rear camera with dual LED Flash and an 8MP front camera with screen Flash.The Blade A2 Plus is powered by a 1.5 GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor with Mali T860 GPU and runs Android Lollipop operating system.
The phone will be available with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory with support for expandable memory of up to 128GB. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging. It is a dual SIM smartphone with 4G support.
Weighing 189 grams, the device offers a metal finish with a fingerprint scanner. The ZTE Blade A2 Plus costs Rs 11,999. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting February 6.
4. Oppo A57
If you love clicking selfies then the Oppo A57 makes perfect sense. The device sports a 5.2-inch HD LCD display with 2.5D curved glass and works on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oppo’s own ColorOS 3.0 skin. It runs on an octa-core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor.
The smartphone offers a 3GB RAM and an Internal storage of 32GB, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It also offers Adreno 505 GPU for graphics. On the camera front, Oppo A57 comes with a 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.12nm pixel size. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture with a LED Flash Module. The camera features include palm shutter function and bokeh effect which enhances the focussed object with a blurry background. This phone is priced at Rs 14,990
5. Asus Zenfone 3S Max
Asus would launch the Zenfone 3S Max with a massive 5,000mAh battery and running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box on February 7 in India. The Zenfone 3S Max would be the third sibling in the Max line up of big battery smartphones by Asus. It is an all-metal phone with a 5.2-inch HD display that has been topped with a 2.5D contoured glass.
On the camera front, Asus Zenfone 3S Max has a 13 megapixel rear camera along with phase detection autofocus. Zenfone 3S Max houses the capacitive buttons onscreen unlike its predecessors. The device is expected to be priced around Rs 15,000.
